I need a good indy shop to work on the 740. All I need are the valves adjusted with the correct shims. I was an idiot when I installed my cam and forgot to take the hushers out before measuring the clearances. So what I thought were perfect clearances are actually quite loose. I priced it out and it's WAY cheaper to get someone to do it rather than order a shim kit from Volvo and send it back (local dealer won't rent them out - pure stupidity).

So I just need an indy with a shim kit for redblocks and the know-how to do it. And you know, someone who won't rip me off would be nice too. But I know exactly how much work goes into doing this so I'm not too worried. As of right now, I don't really trust my local indy to do it. I want them adjusted to exact specs and they're more 'if it works don't touch it' kinda people.

Let me know!

I'm in downtown T.O. and have used this guy once for a TB service and he did a great job. It may be a bit too far for you but he only works on Volvos. His ph. # is 416-588-3881 and his name is Mario: Auto Service Plus.
