Well, since I unfortunately won't be going to Carlisle this year, I thought what better way to make it up to you guys than host a second Slumber Party (no homo). This would be taking place at my cabin in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. It shouldn't be much further for you Illinois guys than my parents house was.

Located here:

Posted Image

TENTATIVE DATE IS SET FOR JULY 22-24. PEOPLE CAN COME ON SATURDAY SPEND THE NIGHT AND LEAVE ON SUNDAY. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO, FEEL FREE TO COME ON FRIDAY.

Slumber Party Amenities Include:

2.5 acres to play
Bathroom and shower
Lake access
Tons of room to park
Fire pit at night to have fires in at night or in the day there's a fire pit for fires.

Oh......
And we have two go-karts and a boat.

Food will be included just like last time, we would probably be grilling out the entire time. Just bring snacks and pitch in for beer since we'll be drinking a lot of it. There is room to sleep inside if you have to, but for all of our sake, camping would make the most sense, as there is a back part to our yard that is secluded that we could camp in. We also have a small piece of land further down the road that might be even better for camping at. I can also bring air mattresses that we used at the last slumber party.

Let me know what you're thinking and if you can come so I can make a list and let my parents know the number of people. This should be a fun weekend, and good opportunity to piss off our neighbors there who were all born with sticks up their asses.

List of attendees:

1. Lee
2. Art
3. Tommy
4. Justus
5. John (maybur)

UPDATE

Ok, we are less than one week away from this so I need to get some finalized details in. This is what's going down, my parents will do dinner for us on Friday and Breakfast on Saturday, and then on Saturday, we will need to bring whatever we want for lunch and dinner. For lunch I was thinking we would do pizza pudgy pies, if anyone hasn't had them before, they're awesome and super delicious. And then for dinner we can just grill out. My mom is going to make trail mix, so whatever snacks people want like chips, cookies, etc, we need to bring those. And obviously, bring your favorite beverage. We have a couple coolers, so we'll get some ice and then we can keep our burs in there.

I was thinking that I will bring everything needed for lunch on Saturday (the pudgy pies) if someone would be able to cover me for dinner (like a hamburger or something). ;)

I also need to know who's coming so I can let them know. So please let me know if you are going to come or not. This is what I have so far:

1. Lee
2. Art
3. Tommy
4. Justus
5. John (maybur)
6. Katherine

So if John and Justus, if you guys can let me know for sure, I would appreciate it.

And remember we're sleeping in tents in the back part of the yard where we have a fire pit and won't be right next to the house so we won't have to get quiet or anything.

Thanks.

This is unfortunate. Obviously you've left us with no other option. Operation: 'Kidnap Alain' is a go.

Too bad. Family comes first without a question. :) Plenty of other shenanigans this summer.

Very tempting but it would mean certain death for me.

So when I said the "whole clan" I meant my entire extended family. As in my parents coming back from Ghana, my sister and her family from Utah, and my other sister's kids coming from Texas and my brother and his family as well. And I'm the one who is coordinating all of this so if I even suggested bailing for a few hours, let alone a day, I would be in the doghouse. My wife and I have done this trip for 7 years now, it's one of those traditions you don't mess with.

It's like that weekend is specifically cursed since there are now three events I would love to participate in if this wasn't already on the calendar and has been there for 9 months now. :(

TOMMY?!

Yeah, the reason I said that is since I already have to ask for June 11-22nd off and then I'm sure there are more dates, but I think I should be able to facilitate such an activity.
