First Time At The Track 1/4 Mile... 98 T5m

My car: 98 Volvo S70 T5 manual with 112,000 miles.
My mods: Hallman Pro MBC set to 12.5 lbs, K&N panel filter, IPD wires, IPD lowering springs, IPD poly engine mount.
The track was Bradenton motorsports park in Florida. Temp started at 87 degrees. I ran consistent low 15's then stopped to let the temps cool down. That made all the difference in the world. I almost shaved an entire second off my times by waiting till the ambient temp dropped to 75 degrees. My best run of the night was:
RT: .078
60': 2.211
330: 6.140
1/8: 9.412 @ 75.66mph
1000: 12.196
1/4: 14.543 @ 95.77mph
It was against a G37. Since I went from a 15.4 to a 14.5 from the temps dropping and the sun going down, I'm betting in perfect temps this car is capable of a 14.0 flat. Just speculation, but if I lost almost a full second from dropping 13 degrees, I see no reason why this car isn't capable of dropping another 1/2 second if the temps were 55 degrees out (20 cooler than what I was at with my 14.5).
I went up against and beat the following:
2009 Mazda RX8 manual with an intake. I thought he would have held up better than he did. I beat him by three bus lengths.
2003 VW GTI manual with intake and a chip. His best of the night was 15.2 and I beat him by a few car lengths. It was my buddies car.
2011 Cadillac STS rental car. This old guy was awesome! Had an 11 second Vega at home. His best was 16.4...I beat him by bus lengths.
Acura TL newer model but don't know the year. He ran a 16.9 with passenger. I don't know what he did wrong but again bus lengths.
2010 Infiniti G37 with K&N filter. Best match for me that night. He beat me twice by a car length, and I beat him once by a car length.
My losses:
98 Cobra with drag radials. He had a bus length on me!
2010 Z06 Vette. Multiple bus lengths on me.

I don't know but my best time with the mods in my sig is 14.1@100mph granted its 5mph faster and I have an enormous problem with boost fade, but still 14.5 is pretty close for being basically a stock car. The best time i ever ran stock was like 15.0 at 97mph but my 60 fts. were in the 2.4ish range.
Your 60' is pretty damn good which is most of the reason you are posting good times. What were your 60 ft. times and trap speeds on the 15 sec. runs?

Hey look who it is. I was just looking at the timeslip section and clicked your profile wondering how in the heck you ran a 13.7 at 99mph? Was that on slicks or...?
