crutchfield says use factory speaker brackets. will the factory brackets hold 5.25 as they are?
I ask cause I have 2 pair of 5.25's and now I have a pair of nice Boston Acoustics and I am not sure if I am going to use the Bostons or sell them and run the 2 pair of the 5.25's

The x70's used 6.5's and the 850's used the 5.25's. You can get an adapter to allow the 5.25 work though, and if you're handy you can make one very easily.

I can make one . I just prefer not to have anything rigged up. I havnt taken the door panel off yet to see what I am looking at.
