My father called and his won't play any CDs or eject the cartridge. It's in a 98 S70 T5. Any ideas to eject the cartridge or repair? Thanks in advance.

Classic problem on these. Unfortunately there's nothing that can be done to fix short of sending the unit back to Alpine for refurbishing. If I remember right, you can pay a little extra to have them send you the CD's back when you do. Easiest would be to start watching EBay or calling junkyards to get another one with a working CD player.

Or just quit using CDs period and install a blitzsafe to connect your iPod to the head unit. I have a perfectly functioning unit but when every little bump you hit causes the CDs to skip it's not worth trying to use CDs.
