[ARD - Lucky]

I've been approached by a few members to create a lightened crank pulley. We're talking stock size but lightened and without damping.

Cost will be $130 shipped per unit if we get 20 folks to commit. Per Che's advice you'll be required to put $60 down as a non-refundable deposit to confirm your commitment.

Here's the specs:
6061 hard anodized aluminum in black.
CNC machined, laser engraved with ARD logo.
Will drop weight but will not do underdrive for this run.
We're looking 6-8 weeks for production from the time the design is approved.


Design will be similar to what you've seen in the past however ARD will further lighten the design by skeletizing the interior. This piece will fit all 850 and 70 series models 1993-1998 including non turbo. There is a possibility that I can make one unit to fit both 870 chassis and P2 but at this time cannot confirm just yet. Let's see how many are interested for just the 870 then I'll review P2 when I get back in the office on July 5th.

If I wasn't already using the UR one, I'd be all over it.

My experience with the UR pulley has been great. One of the most surprisingly effective mods I've done.

I'm just back from seattle so I can work on a 3d model this week. As for fitment I believe we can design one pulley to fit 870/p2 models but ill have to review it before I can confirm.

If I'm honest I'll do this if you guys really want it, but it's not my main priority so it's an "as I get to it" type of project, hence the longer lead time.

FYI, as far as I know the R pulley differs from the stock P2 setup and both differ from the x70 series from what I have seen in terms of diameter. They all work, but with the stock P2 its though to get the belt on with x70 accessories.

1994-2000 850/X70 models all have the same pulley so this would cover the masses including yourself. Welcome aboard

What is the rotational inertia of the old and expected inertia of the new pulley? Where and when should we pay the $60 deposit?
