Yeah, whataburger is to hamburgers what Portillo's is to hot dogs.  Great joint, just like In N Out not spread sufficiently across the US such that they're a treat for a Midwestern traveler rather than a regular experience.

White Castle sliders are an occasional guilty pleasure but I'm not going to talk about them in the context of who has the best burgers.

I vividly remember the disappointment in trying my first (and only) White Castle. All that hype, and it was tearrhhharrrrrable. I'd agree In-n-Out is over hyped too, but it's decent.

Thanks for that Alain! I ended up watching the best of Wedding Crasher's video right after and it reminded me of how funny that movie was.

Hardee's

There are only like 3 Hardee's in my state now. (Thankfully) the closest one closed a few years ago and was turned into a dry cleaner & laundromat. As of today when I dropped off a suit coat and one of the wife's dresses to be cleaned, in the 6 yrs I've lived here, i have been to both places an equal number of times. (That would be 1)

but the cinnamon raisin biscuits are where it's at. That's the only thing I've eaten from Hardee's since at least 1999.

I know. It wants to fly out of my hand when I press the trigger. I can't wait to use it on both car and house stuff. Only $199 for the bare tool. Although the picture does make it appear larger than it really is, the motor is massive.
