7 VII 7 12,302
I've had a set of Shure SE110s for close to 6 years now, I really like them for blocking out ambient noise, and they're pretty comfortable too. For the price, I've been very happy with sound quality as well. The current model is the SE112 - they're $50 on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EWOK09G/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_2/186-0121803-0141403?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_r=1PG8A7H44Q22EHABZY4E&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=1944687622&pf_rd_i=B000VHUE0S No microphone. LOL That might be a little strong, but Apple really did a very good job designing them. I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried them. It's all I use if I'm using headphones around town.

Serge 458
Super useful. And you don't end up beating up the cross nut with vicegrips like you normally would.
