Why? Does daddy's yacht get ice on it...

Nah, he has a cabin towards the top of Mt. Hood. It's right on the edge of our own slopes but unfortunately the only access to it is helipad or hike it. And since my last DUI in the heli, I haven't been flying that in a while so I hike it. Really puts a damper on the vacation.

Guy I work with led me to brushless motors. Anyone have experience and know if it's really worth it?

In the long run yes, it's a longevity thing

I understand that. Just wondering if anyone has had one long enough to note a difference.

It's why I bought the brushless M18 Fuel Milwaukee.  Better battery life, better motor longevity, better performance.  That's what I learned from the design engineers in our Construction segment who design power tools. It may not matter as much to someone who only occasionally uses the tool but for the guys who use them day in and day out it REALLY makes a difference.

Dewault or Milwaukee you can't really go wrong. Seems like in general Milwaukee has better specs across the board.

Their m12 fuel and m18 fuel lines are all amazing for the price.
