Let me know if you have another lucky find, I'm about to do some exhaust work and having one of these would open up some options. I may just need to do a little custom work to make it fit my '06.

Speaking of the OR, doing pads and rotors all around.

4x Zimmermann rotors:

F + R sets Akebono Euro Ceramic:

Kinda nice to spend some money on a car again.

Will do, Timo, and that's a fresh brake setup...I've got some front pads going in this weekend (maybe)

I can't wait, it seems like a solid combo from the research that I've done. Are you going ceramic? The brake dust from OEM pads is atrocious and I cannot wait to have consistently clean wheels.

Even my mom hated those pads. The only thing they are good for is "low dust".

Are you talking OEM or the Akebonos I bought? OEM make my wheels black after a week.

Timo please, the brakes are just making your wheels different shades of anthracite/graphite so you get a bit of variety of wheel colour in your life.

Akebonons. They're fine for DD'ing if dust is a big deal to you. But they suck at everything else.

I drove daily with HP+ pads. :a-farmboy:

You're the first person that I've come across with that opinion, and I did a lot of searching (both Volvo forums and else) to come to my decision to buy them. Hopefully it's just your opinion.

he is in the minority - those akebono pads are great and will do well on an xc90. i loved em... had em on my R before I did the bbk on all four corners then put them on my 98v70t5m and 302's and worked great.

do you want them on a 4wd 300+whp car, no! of course not.
