If you don't like golf you'll at least like the drinking aspect, what do you think the huge pocket is for....12 pack

I've played a bunch, I just don't play... I actually played a couple months ago.

didn't need it pulling the motors from the 850's but I suspect pulling a supra motor/tranny might be a tad bit harder

xrite colorchecker passport

How do you use it ? Do you have to include it in one pic to be able to pull colors off the chart afterwards ? Do you modify your pictures a lot or are most of them published the way they were taken ?

I don't know if you're familiar with gray cards, but basically it allows you to have a consistent white balance across your entire shoot. This product also allows my colors to be consistent as well, it's a great tool. So, I shoot the product upagainst a models face once I have my lighting dialed in. If I change my lighting, I have to shoot the product again. Basically in post, you take your color sampling tool for your white balance and choose the grey box that best suites your taste, it'll warm or cool the overall tones of the photo. This product also allows me to create camera profiles so in LR3, I can just upload the profile for the colors and in the camera editing area of LR3, I can just choose my camera and BAM my colors are corrected. I can then sync all my photos taken in that location under the same lighting to the first photo that was corrected and I'm done w/ my edits as far as color corrections go. If I didn't use this product, color profiles are changed everytime you open it in diffent software, eg. Photomechanic to LR3 or Aperature3, etc. Camera profiles are pretty consistent across the adobe creative suite though. The software reads the color different than my camera does, so when I shot the job, I was seeing and adjusting to what the camera was producing and this allows me to see the colors as the camera sees it. As for my photos, I really strive to get it right in camera, so I don't do a whole lot in my post. This allows me to cut my editing times down and get a job out the door much faster, this product will me even more in this quest for quick post.

Make sense?
