Hello everyone,

So, I flipped through all the threads here, and I think I'm on the right track, but want confirmation on my belief. However, since I'm long winded, I'll give the whole tale.

I used to have an 850 Turbo. At 191k it needed an entire engine rebuild, almost all suspension pieces replaced, and the turbo either rebuilt or replaced. Needless to say, I'm now driving a Dodge Magnum. Now, onto the important part: the stereo. I had a nice little Panasonic deck in my car. I went to put it in a friend's 850 T5R... and no sound. I've seen this thread and this thread, which have both put me on the right track, but I'm wondering (and I want to hopefully sort this out for good before inviting her over to try again to finish it. Looking at the pictures posted, I recognize the second one as being the one I want, but I don't know where the hell to find that. Is it bundled in the wires and covered in that now-disintegrating insulating material, or was that unplugged from the stock amplifer?

Oh, and I really wish I could afford to buy this car off her, and rebuild it completely. It needs it bad, and I die a little, seeing the shape it's in, but she inherited it that way, so I'll whine no more.
