I'm jealous of my GF's 2007 Infinity G35. The thing is a blast to drive. It has a techtronic ( I believe that's the right term not sure) 5 speed transmission. it's solid as hell and corners like its on rails. She doesn't even use the manual shift ability either. I was on the fence before about a manual swap but now I know what I must do..I'm thinking December is a good time since I will have time off from work. I will be looking for anyone that can offer any help getting it done..Yes, I can pay.

I wouldn't say worst ever. He is going to do a manual swap on the Volvo, so that is a positive.

So why is my wanting to improve the fun factor of my 850R by doing a manual swap the worse thread ever? Guess it's his way of saying he's bored with his life and wanted me to post some awe inspiring thread that would make him run around the world like Forrest Gump.

So do you want tiptronic or a manual? I am confused. Your best bet for something like tiptronic is to look around for paddle shifter threads. I think Lucky has already been talking about modifying the TCU's for something like this soooo you may want to shoot him a PM and wait.

I want a manual..I was just sharing how her car is more fun to drive and I wanted to increase the fun factor on my 850R..Flyfishing is busting my balls for some reason. Maybe he got offended that I posted my topic in Performance or maybe he just doesn't have a girlfriend..I dunno.

Cut him some slack, big NWC family Mune and Bordvo are cool, just a newer one. Give him time to learn, we say OK things about german cars, but JDM's not so much...

the reason your IP matters, is to keep People from having Multiple SN's to troll. Your strong thread looks and sounds like a troll thread.

i could give a flying turd what cars you talk about, etc etc. i've been here long enough to have seen tons of these flyboy threads about wanna's do and Projects that never happen. Do your research, get the parts together, and i'm sure there's lots of guys in the NWC that will help wrench.

a techtronic is more like a "Womanual"...you can play shift, but you can still put on your make-up and txt your friends...and you don't have that 3rd confusing pedal to deal with
