97 850R; I have an 816 HU with factory amp, and MB Quart speakers all around. I have an Infinity Basslink mounted under my cargo area. Its been fine, and its all I really need to round out the system nicely. But as they all eventually seem to do, the Basslink amp died. I pulled the amp, and there are fried caps, fried remote plug...smelly melted brown parts here and there, so not worth fixing. I bought it used, got 3 years out of it, meh....
I harvested the 10" driver and passive radiator. I plan to install them into a cabinet in the same location, that will allow me to maintain use of a full size Volans spare. The Basslink, while handy, didn't allow that. Too deep. Being a carpenter, making a box to meet these requirements shouldn't be difficult. But being an audio noob, I don't know what to power this small sub-system with.
I'm looking for a simple amp, around 200 watts that will power this 10" sub, of reputable quality, (not ebay shite)
Recommendations?

How much are you looking to spend? I've had good luck with Memphis amps, nice quality and plenty of power, not to pricey. Older Zapco and PPI amps are amazing but becoming harder to find and of course more expensive.

I've been running a kenwood amp (2ch, 1000watt) for almost 6 years now. Got it cause a buddy of mine worked for kenwood, and have to say im very satisfied with how long and well it's performed (It's been in all three of my Volvos). Wasn't too expensive either.
