Hello all,
I have recently been looking for an s70 t5 manual, but have not had much luck in my area. I live outside Grand Rapids, Michigan. Basically all I have been able to come up with are GLT's and T5 autos in less than stellar condition/ too many miles. I have my sights set on a manual, however if a real nice t5 auto comes around I may consider it. I intend to Stage 0 the car upon purchase, and add upgrades as funds become available. Not intending to make a ridiculous beast out of it... just something to drive daily... and maybe pull on some stang's and honda's hehe.
To be specific, I would enjoy something with: >140,000-ish miles, no glaring interior or exterior problems (i.e. major/eyesore rust, seats that got in a fight with a lawnmower...etc), a solid engine/trans, good ride, minor upgrades (not required, but it'd be a nice bonus), and was generally well cared for during its lifetime. Color isn't a huge issue. Black or red would be great. And most of all- nearby. If anyone has a vehicle in mind that is in Michigan, possibly northern Ohio, Indi, or the Chicago area, any tips would be greatly appreciated.
I hope to hear more soon and can't wait to join the Volvo family!

just bumpin. I don't want to seem like a "leech". however Im just very anxious to purchase a new car, and the s70 is basically... optimum for my needs. Again, I greatly appreciate any help from the community and I love the site. Everything I have seen here has been very helpful in researching. Thanks again.

yeah that is really nice.. but 10K?! lol
im thinking more around 6 tops. considering that i'd want to put a few mods on it down the road, im trying to save as much as I can initially so it doesnt have to be THAT far down the road haha..
