Very Pretty Car!!!! Beautiful backdrops to showcase the car, too! That really is a great color for them. Only downer is yours has the beige interior.

The more of these S70s I see on here, the more I want one! I'm currently looking into a 850 T-5R in yellow....

x70's have a more refined interior - 850's are much more angular interior, closer to 700/900, and much more squeaks & rattles.

A Yellow T5R would be nice, though :)

Every time I show a picture of a yellow T5-R to my friends they say it's a horrible color. They just don't get it :)

I have to say I do miss my 850 from time to time. I look at pictures of it and from certain angles I prefer it to the S70. Driving-wise there is just no comparison - the S70 T5 is a completely different beast to the 850 NA Automatic.

I'm not a big fan of the beige interior. Black would have been nicer.

I am thinking of painting (or plastidip-ing) the grilles and mudflaps. Not sure how the combination Black/Tropic Green would work though.

Its priceless. And to think I've got all of $6000 in my Volvo, and they got over $60,000 in the Porsche :P

Snow and dirt has been driving me crazy. I finally got around to washing the car, as well as applying my Volvo Motorsport stickers (Thanks to my dad for making them!)

Sure, I don't see why not.

We just have to do some adjustments to the design first, get the size right (the one I have right now is at the absolute limit, but it still fits okay), and get the rectangles aligned perfectly.

What size are you thinking of for the wagon? I'm not sure if he can print larger stickers than A4 at the moment. The ones on my car right now are barely under 10 inches in length.

I'm not sure lol. The largest you can get that will still fit on the sides I guess. I'll measure the windows tonight after work.

Although, the size you have on yours will still look really good. I guess I dont want them huge....

I wish my license plate was just a snow covered mountain. Would make it better for the cops when they run my plates.

I almost just nearly died...or at least I would have totaled my car.

We got about 10 inches of snow last night. This morning me and a buddy of mine went skiing. The Volvo is running on All-seasons and it's front wheel drive...so not ideal combination. The tires are really good for all-seasons, but not for weather like this.

Anyways...day of skiing over, we head back down the mountain. Speed limit is 45MPH, I'm probably doing 35-40MPH. The road is mostly cleared, except for occasional patches of snow. Knowing my car, I am being extra careful, but then. On a left bend, I start to feel the back slowly stepping out. I caught it early. Sadly I couldn't stop it. I started counter-steering but the back continued to run wide. At the end of the bend, the car is almost at a 15 degree angle, with the wheels turned gently to the opposite direction. But the car is still pointed and going into the other lane, where lo-and-behold several cars are coming toward me. As the road straightened, my counter-steering technique worked and I brought the car back straight. Worst of all - the cars coming toward me were a good 200 feet away and they didn't even bother to slow down. This could have been a head on collision. Thank God for ABS, and counter-steer!

Maybe winter tires would have helped, but I think AWD would have been more useful. That's the second time something like this has happened to me in a front wheel drive Volvo. It was such a slow slide, probably 10 seconds. Me and my friend had time to curse, stuff our pants and rethink our lives, while I steered the car straight again. I'm sure it looked spectacular from the outside, and maybe the cars coming ahead were thinking that I'm drifting and I have full control. It wasn't fun though. Definitely one of the scariest experiences in my life. Thank God we survived unharmed!

I did this on my 412 t5m and it looked great, esp the grill which is just a boring matte grey plastic in stock form.

edit: not sure about mudflaps, probably better body color.

Snow tires are your answer. My AWD V70 does that same tail-out thing on all-seasons.
