There is no VST model. That person doesn't know what he is talking about. It has some VST parts, at least the wheels are and possibly a front lip, but that is all.

If you search for Volvo 850 VST, you find VST parts, and like 4 sale ads for that same car.

"Hey, shoot me some links so I can read up on this "V.S.T" 850 model. Sounds really cool - almost mythical. In fact, your 850 is the first "V.S.T" model I've ever read about! Maybe you could include a picture in the CL ad of some official documentation from Volvo?"

Even the wheels look like knock off VST's. I bet it had a Vst decal on the back when they bought it, or they are just dumb, no either way they a still dumb

They (VS) wax their cars? I thought the lastest craze was to wrap them in viynl so the paint is flat. At least thats what won the IPD show.

On the plus side, it does look like a clean 850.
And who can deny Volvo's track bred heritage, obviously infused into this 850 VST (volvo sport tech).

There are two models of VST wheels, forged and cast. Those look like the cast model.

its another ultra rare model like the C70 R that a guy around here has been trying to sell for 6 months...I flag him constantly..I emailed him telling him there was no such thing..called me a liar etc..monkeynut.

Another fucking  s70: with Lots of zip-ties, a power antenna, and a bitchin shift knob... the only mods that matter.

Good lookin' 850 for sure, but I agree that there is no VST model and like Spencer said prolly had the sticker on back and these guys think it's a "850 VST"

I guess Danny has the rare "S60 VST" model Volvo came out with in 2K6 :D

V.S.T MODELS ARE MORE COMMON IN EUROPE.

so is shitting on each others chest but that's not about to get my nut off...

Its moar aweomser than a T5R too... it doesnt have suede because V.S.T. went all out and skinned live people to make their seats. You get a cut in the seat you slap some neosporin on that shit and a bandaid and bam 3-5 days fuckers good as new. If your seats get ashy just put the lotion on its skin and does so when its told...

Just got a response to my email:

Vst is the after market racing parts that volvo use. Please see www. Ipd. Com

My reply:

So this is a regular Volvo 850 with parts from IPD, right?

Once again, is there some Volvo document you could supply that would prove your 850 is a "VST" model? A Volvo document would be from Volvo - not a receipt from IPD.

I always thought VST was a Japanese tuner. Wouldn't there be more VST 855's in Japan than any European country?

Good question. Pester the seller via email; in fact, everyone on here should troll the fuck out of him.

"Hi,

I am a collector of rare Volvo vehicles and chair a group of late model Volvo enthusiasts at Microsoft. I was not aware of any special tuning arrangements between Volvo and VST of Japan. Do you happen to have the original vehicle documentation from Japan and the import or export records? I also noticed that the car is not right hand drive, as other VST-tuned Volvos from Japan would be. Did you perform the right hand drive to left hand drive conversion or was the vehicle sent directly to VST for conversion then immediately to Canada?

I would also be curious to see the front bumper and whether the VST front spoiler is still intact or missing any difficult-to-replace parts, such as the tow hook cover. Please email me more photos while answering the aforementioned questions.

Thank you in advance, looks like a beautiful car you have there and would love to have a true artifact to the cross-continental cooperation between Volvo and VST.

Hahahahahahahaha. F-en tow hook cover

Yeah VST is Japanese. They are owned by a dick head who apparently doesn't want to make any money or send misc. Parts if he doesn't want to.

Btw if that's what those model of VST wheels look like, that's horrible, the look like $300 wallmart
