I don't get it, everyone talks about being original and unique and doing something different, then they post their ideas or pictures, and the instant someone says they don't like, they're begging for other ideas so what they do everyone will like, then, you're completely un-original. Do whatever you want, if you like the blue, keep it, you'll stand out more with those blue wheels than you will the 1,543,045th set of bronze wheels. I think it's ugly, but it's not my car.
You're not going to stand out in a crowd having the same color wheels as the car two spots down from you.

Well, truthfully speaking, THIS would be baller (but who are we kidding, you're not going to spend that kind of money on wheels):

There's a HUGE different between painting crappy (no offense) OEM wheels a crazy color...and painting aftermarket wheels (nice ones) a crazy color. In price, the wheels above go for $1500, $5000 and $2600.
My wheels are painted "Shit Brown"...but they come apart and have anodized gold things holding them together lol. I say, stick with normal colors unless you want to spend some $ on a nice set of wheels. Don't just do something for the sake of doing it. It usually ends up as a FAIL in the end.
Picture of said "Shit Brown" wheels:

Ah Matt, you're just conforming to another rule of a certain group of car owners as to what looks "correct."
But if OP wants to play his own tune, I say go for it - just do the paint RIGHT. I only used the extreme examples because they did the best job of showing off colors.

Stance:Nation, StanceWorks, Hellaflush, Stanced Society, State of Stance, Stance is everything, Stanced Monkeys, it's all the same thing:
Drop it, stretch it and poke it. Spend more money on wheels than your car is worth. Ratting it up on platinum wheels gains street cred. Not knocking it, but it's all the same stuff. Declaring one stance gospel is greater than another is geekier than the Mac vs. Windows acolytes.
