Watch Out For Over Crimped Heater Core Hoses...

In case you are buying or just bought a blue box Volvo lower/outlet heater hose for any 94-97 850 turbo, S/V/C 70 turbo 98-99. (p/n 9186847), you might want check to make sure the hose is not over crimped.Attached File  HeaterCore hose.jpg   1.02MB   66 downloads

The top hose is the over crimped one and will fail in a month or two, I had three failed hoses in 5 months, all leaking due to the manufacture's over crimping!
The bottom one is the corrected version according to my parts guy.

or diy it using readily available in parts store 5/8" heater hose and save some moolah for mods : )
