The title says it all.

Routine maintenance, performance parts, wheels and tires, cosmetics and audio modifications... whatever.
How much does your "hobby" or "passion" or "money-pit" cost you per year?

average for the last 4 months is $1500 -$2k a month ... but I get most if not all that back and then some when I sell a car so ...

I'm upto $2500 this year but that's because it was the first year with the car so Stage 0 + 105k service + full exhaust + wheels & tires + the

maintenance. Next year should be cheaper however, I spend whatever money I can on the car so if I had it I'd spend it so maybe it won't be as cheap

lol

Its only money. Either spend it when you have it or not when you dont. No point in saving it, cant take it with you when you die.

If you need money to survive that's not my fault. Not everyone has to live off the capitalistic tit. Try being independent, it may open your eyes. Numb nuts.

Guessing this past year is between $3500-$5000 considering the new control arms, subframe replacement, maintenance, axles, all the wheels/tires I've gone through, D2 coilovers, and then the other random shit I've bought (5 cupholders... I keep breaking them).

How often do you change your oil and what are you replacing it with? Are you using Saddam Hussein's personal stash of liquid gold? Or unicorn tears with flakes of platinum suspended in the solution?

Is this "per car", or as a sum total?

Since I've gotten my 850 back in July, I've spent about $5k. I am almost done with stage 0, PCV is next week. Pretty much rebuilt the front end, minus hubs and swaybar, but those will be soon. The car gets nicer with every dollar though, and I like wrenching on it.
