Just picked up this 97 850 t5 yesterday. R bumper, spoiler, mint grey interior, yadda yadda yadda, 85k on the clock. Needs a headgasket.

Plans-

Finally a car that will not have any problems when I slam it (in comparison to my s60). Possibly some DC coilovers, diy coilovers, or even chop chop.

Here are the only pictures I have of the car. My neighbor will be picking it up tomorrow and it will go right into the garage until I can get home and rip the head off.

Thanks to all who had positive comments. For the record, no it will not drag frame, more of just a low reference. Yes car was on philly CL so I took a ride down and couldn't pass it up. The wheels are owned by my neighbor, I refinished them a couple years ago for him, hopefully they will be mine in a couple months. If he doesn't want to get rid of them its not the end of the world. There are plenty more 3 piece wheels out there begging to be refinished. No specific time frame per-say because I'm at school. Only event it needs to be done by is h2oi 2012 which is about a year from now. Hopefully its just the head gasket. Typical symptoms of blowing pressure out of coolant tank, puttering noise, and milky oil.

As for the engine I might throw some n/a cams in the head while its off. Not really looking to go performance at the moment on this one. Time will tell, just concentrating on low for now. Hope I answered everyone's questions.
