Im not going to be done for a while haha. Car isn't at my house until tomorrow, and on top of it I'm at school.

Million dollar question- do threaded sleeves fit over stock struts??

To be honest I'm not concerned about blowing the struts(already 85k on them). Just looking to go low on a budget so I can dial in my stance then I can think about a long term solution.

If you're looking for 3 piece wheels and those ones you're looking at aren't available, I have two sets for sale. :) PM me if you're interested.

i have stock struts here and using a ruler (no calipers here) they look to be about 2" exactly in diameter... sooo find sleeves that are bigger than 2" and whamo blamo and bingo was his nameo.

No, they don't. At least not the ones from Afco.

That's why you have to get Koni yellows...since they're smaller in diameter.

Wat.

Yes they fit. Afco's. On Bilstein TC's and on OEM struts.

Just follow the DIY.
I used Bilstein TC's instead of Koni's.

What the DIY fails to tell you is if you use a stock length strut and want to get low, prepare to have your teeth rattled out of your head.
The ride quality was horrible but I was decently low maxxed out.

Hear ar pickture:

Maxxed out with chopped springs in the rear.
It was decently low, but I am going to be playing around with different ways to get very very low with my next volvo.

Before even buying the 850 I came to realize this. Im going to be concentrating on proper fitment rather than miata lows

Here is exactly how my new wheels sat when I bought them today. Cleaned them after pics but I wanted to have a absolute before and after. Etoile style 455, 2 piece. Fronts are 16x7.5 et35(?). Rears are 16x9 et35(?). I'm hoping to run a 40 or even 45 series sidewall because the 850 on stretched 16s is going to be low. One has a small crack on the inside barrel and a decent bend. One has a very, very small bend and other 2 are perfect. I'm pumped to have a winter wheel project as well as getting the 850 running perfect

Could have been but I doubt it. No R spoiler unfortunately, just R bumper
