This has been touched on before but as the time nears we need to get this nailed down. Currently Volvospeed and Turbobricks register under VS/TS and get a 20x40 tent. If we split the sites we can get at the least two 20x30 tents or 20x40 and 20x20. With a little luck two 20x40 could be in the works. The down side will be, not having the cars mixed together. Loss of diversity is a concern but I think ultimately more space(presence) benefits both clubs. Thoughts?

Is the poll public? If not, can we make it public? Be easier to see if douchers who live on the west coast are jamming the poll

How would they split it? I know that the VCOA is seperate but they were right next to us. It seems that the cars were always mixed anyway.

You want more diversity? I mean, shit, my VW was parked with the volvos :P

More tents, more fun...not like there was shit going on at the VS tent last year anyway :P I mean, why are some people bent outta shape of the two tents? two different sites, 2 different breeds. It's not like they are putting a fence around that you only get one choice to walk through VS or TB....everyone is all over the place anyway.

Real questions is where my grill going? :P

Welcome to the TRIP...

I think the split would be more so in the fact that we would register as Turbobricks or VolvoSpeed... which means in the long run it would make it look like we are a smaller group since in past years we've been second biggest to Saabs but if we split up then we might drop even lower just because we split the groups up.

I don't think we really need a bigger tent... but that's just my experience.

is 20x40 the biggest tent??? is there the possibility of a single bigger tent than that if we have more attendees? My only concern after last year is getting out of the fvcking sun, my sunglass tan only went away in September no lie. Also John, ^dope sig pic^

Largest is 20x40. Agreed single larger is better or not splitting and getting 2 tents. But Carlisle said you want two tents be two groups. I would rather exploit the system than have the system exploit me.

honestly... I didn't see too much of an issue with what we had... IIRC we had the 20x40? but I'm not the only one speaking on behalf of people who are at Carlisle.

EDIT: I like the idea of having a bigger tent, but I don't like the idea of being judged as two separate groups... then we wont get recognition as a big group if we split up.

If we are a single big group do we all get free t-shirts?

Lets just sabotage Saab then, make a thread about a pre-carlisle cruise and route it off a cliff, then we'd be the biggest group, could have 2 tents AND no Saab fanboys racing up and down the camping area

Is the florida crew gonna autotrain?

I really don't care since I spent my time wandering around and not under the tent really at all.
