Looking to get a set of speaker kick pod enclosures for my 850. Just wondering if anyone is supplying them and knows where to buy them (other than going to my local shop and getting them made).

It's been a long while since I've done that type of work and since bing has been around, but IIRC many of his kicks were unsealed (no backs) and before he really knew what he was doing he was building them out of t-shirts and resin.

Nothing against bing's better work, though, so if you happen to find a nicer set of his, go for it.

I had to register my basement as an NFA item.

How do they mount if they dont have backs? Mine have backs so they can have screw holes that go through them and attach them to the car. I will also verify on the other set I know about. .

It's been so long (~five years?) that I don't remember fully, though I do remember talking with him about them not being sealed in back and him telling me that being pushed up against the floor carpet was good enough. It's more likely that they had big holes in the back or something along those lines since to make it completely without a back doesn't make much sense, really.

I had to register my basement as an NFA item.
