I guess. I have though about painting the tops blue and putting a Volvo logo on them. Then I would tell everyone one its stock suspension. :P

is that important for some reason?

Not at all, just making sure I'm not really screwing up, some how. If I had the time (more time) I'd take them apart too, and paint/coat Volvo blue.

I'm still trying to decide what to do on my front - Ben's kit ($$$$), KW, D2?? Problem with all the listings I see is they only offer full kits, and I don't see any listings for individual components if something breaks/wears out......

Don't forget the TA coilovers that JJFab sells: http://volvospeed.co...oilovers-jjfab/

They don't offer damping adjustment, only height adjustment, but cost less and use standard coilover springs up front, so you can tinker with rates if you want. The nice part is you can buy just the fronts, and they're comparatively inexpensive

KW has a lifetime warranty on their stuff. They also sell individual components, you would just need to call them or email them.

If I was going to ever drop the $$$$ on a set of coilovers, I'd get them from Ben... mainly because he's local so I could go yell at him if need be. ^_^

Good Idea! I forgot about those. I wonder how they would work with the (Kalpenke) Koni's in the back. I have a range of Eibach coilover springs, so if these use the same spring dimensions, that would definitely work.

Depending on what you want to do with the car, being able to set the dampening rate is nice. If all you do is drive on the street or drag race, then it doesn't matter.

I assume your rears are adjustable.

Yeah, street use only. The rears are Ben's (Kalpenke) adjustable Koni setup - still not installed, BTW. I plan to get that installed over Spring Break. I'm going to give the TA's a try.
