[the most modern GLT]

right now i have a 1998 s70 GLT. god i love this car. im only 17 so money car sometimes be an issue but i want some ideas of cosmetic things to external, but mostly engine bay since I have ignored that the most. What i have on it know.
INTERNAL:carbon fiber detailing in dash and around shifter, Front lights inside are white LED's, Back inside lights are red LED's, floor lights in front are blue LED's, have jvc KW-AVX740, all aftermarket speakers through out.
EXTERNAL: carbon fiber mudflaps and gas door and lock on trunk and small part of door handle, ABM projector headlight, HID 6000k low beams, HID 5000K high beams, yellow brake calipers, stainless steel painted grill with yellow accents and Volvo moose on it(was tired of high mileage club emblem)
PERFORMANCE: owner before me is huge Volvo freak (in a good way) and has Ferrari's. had it lowered an inch, k and n air filter
PROJECTS: 2 12 inch kenwood subs in custom fiberglass boxes on sides of trunk out of the way in the center, max legal tint, replace headliner(its drooping).

I do all the work myself (except probs tint) i like a black on steel modern look and love yellow accents, i will try to get some pics soon.
Main things i want to tackle are engine bay to look sweet and aggressive( i also like adding power to it).
Exhaust system or tip or what? im curious about exhaust idea's...
any things you have done that look sweet tell me about, but i don't want to just straight copy someones custom ride. Thanks, Noah

Paint the valve cover and tuck the wires would be a start.

exhaust: obx is cheap on e.bay
for the engine bay, just go at it with some simple green til its clean and then polish the crap out of anything you see that aluminum. Scone-man's J pipe makes for a nice additional bling

OBX sells a strut bar, and an exhaust system.
Probably half the people here have both of those. either both, or one or the other.

Stiffens the front end. because of the gaping hole in the front of the car called the engine bay.

R bumpers aren't terribly expensive, and add to the look of the car, more lowering is always good, iPd's springs drop the car 1.75", so almost a full inch lower than where you're at. There are a good amount of things you can do. A good set of wheels always helps too.

im not doing wheels till my Yokohama's wear out but i actually like my rims(the steel alloy ones) did some more research and a ipd strut ball sounds like a good bang for the buck. im reading alot of bad reviews about obx exhaust tho

i see an hid kit as well, did you just use a high heat spray paint or what? the owner before me had after market hoses and piping i could just airbrush it after cleaning bay...

so i simple greened my bay and now my 2nd cylinder is misfiring

in what the alternator? how can i fix? its my daily driver and i need it tomorrow

might have something to do with your fuel injectors, since there right there in front of the engine. while cleaning you might have loosened a spark plug,

where can i find out how to fix this or can you tell me a bit more.

water got in my distributer cap once, and caused some misfires.

an autoparts store can help you fix it. but if you want a diy, check and make sure your spark plugs are completely connected and not loose, or water in your distributer cap, dont know what to do about the injector problem if it is the injectors causing the misfire.
