purchased a 94 turbo wagon with expectations of a rebuild. mechanic quoted 3000.00 ca. but i'm assuming most of that is labor. F/L needs a lot of work. I am by no means mechanically inclined, and would like a part list of what would be ideal. I have ordered left axle assembly, control arm (hoping it is the right fit), outer tie rod, and end links. is there anything that I am missing? for the struts, what parts should I get? including mounting hardware such as washers ect..

I don't know if this is an option for you, but IPD, and FCP Groton (google them) sell complete suspension kits... with *everything* you could possibly need or want to replace on these cars. I believe they're in the $750 US price range.

Unless they were physical damage, such as from a wreak, odds are you wouldn't need to replace the axle or the control arm. Outside of that, you might need wheel bearings, various bushings, ball joints.
