I want to get a DIN2 that will allow me to keep using my steering wheel controls (volume, forward/back), do all of them do this or...?

Are you looking for a double DIN sized headunit that will work with your steering wheel controls?

Or do you need a harness to connect your steering wheel controls to an existing aftermarket headunit?

Both these head units are great.

http://www.amazon.co...JN0PHR01PY9CKDJ <----- I have this one.

To retain the steering wheel controls you need one of these http://www.amazon.co...6/ref=pd_cp_e_4

Depending on the year of your Volvo install could be a snap. Any Volvo 2002 and up, Metra has a mounting bracket. I have a 2000 and I had to jerry rig a bracket.

Hope that helps!

I personally have not used the steering wheel control adapter, but it has gotten good reviews across the board. My friend recently redid his 2005 s60r with a pioneer head unit and the kit work pretty well.

as an update if this ever comes up again,
i ended up going with a USA SPEC unit instead of getting a new headunit. ATM, the headunit for me was more $/work than what I really wanted it for especially when I weighed out the other upgrades I was looking at in the car in the same price range.
