vs: new 2 door gti w/ intake at least, i think he said mbc and chip as well - i walked him, started at about 50, he got a quick jump of a half a car then it was all over... he was also the only one kinda questionable of my car so he deserved it lol
vs: 02 wrx sedan full stage 2, cobb access port, 3" exhaust intake coilovers etc. etc. (stock turbo/injectors/5speed) - didnt get the "fairest" race but he is certainly faster... 50 to 70 he consistently gained then i started to catch him but shut down due to the gti getting in the way lol and we all agreed on not driving too fast and being careful. probably around 100mph i would have gotten him but like i said poorly orchestrated and never got another chance...
now i'm a little skeptical of this video: (or maybe stage 2 is defined differently or this wrx wag wasnt running to potential)
vs: 98 a4 avant 1.8t - GOT KILLED lol 350+whp awd wagon, this car is sick... external wastegate(awesome btw) etc. etc. i forget what turbo he said he has (20g i believe?), i will update with that later, basically this car made all of us look like we were standing still haha. we went from about 40 to 80 and he had about 4 car lengths on me lol, probably a great match up with Hussein s XR
fun time though, got some good compliments but really realized i gotta get the 18t in and a 5 speed STAT.
great run too on the "13 curves" in syracuse/onandago ny - beautiful scenery and awesome curves for 50-60mph driving, the wrx owned here of course but i was proud of all my new suspension mods the 25/25mm f/r sways finally got put to use!

Sometimes it's all about how the stars align that night honestly. I had a guy in a shelby super snake give me a thumbs up after a little run... I didn't think (still don't) that he was racing. But only he knows LOLNice pulls Greg! You can get a lot of power out of the 1.8t's, the heads flow really well. And don't be skeptical of Jake's video, his was a factory freak for some reason. And my 850 was nose to nose with a Roush 429R (446hp 400tq I think) before I took it off the road for motor build time. Put the m56 in there and you'll quickly find out why

thanks Ben, I told my friend with the audi about your build and showed him your thread... the external is the selling point for his car and yours to me... i need you to come down here in your new set-up and spank em haha
manual swap is on the radar for sure... gonna cost me about $2.5k in the end doing it right w/ other maintenance and lsd at the same time.

and yeah.. my video up there..
was deff a 2.0 wrx swap into a ts wagon we did for my buddy... it had a full exhaust various bolt ons (the donor wrx was modded).. he got it dyno tuned for 226awhp
and its not hard to believe a t5m with just a boost controller (like 15psi) would pull that from a 60, 3rd gear roll... my t5m with that exact setup managed a 14.1 @ 102 at the dragstrip
