[Ghost Shadow]

At first when i saw this on craigs list, didnt think i wanted it. Then it came up on the thread in the R forum a few days later. On a whim i went to see it. Was impressed to see a 154,000 mile car with a clean interior and decent exterior. Rear Bumper needs work the front NEEDS a V70R bumper. This car is so clean, the steering wheel is not nasty, the driver window switch is PRISTINE. One owner from a affluent suburban philadelphia town. seems well maintained. found a sticker from a recent TB service. Blown headgasket, so this car is getting the royal treatment.

Plans are to do a tear down and see if i can just do a head gasket or if it needs a block.

EDIT: car is done, project is finished, Oct 31 2011 started, done on Nov 16, 2011.
RE-EDDITTED: Car is never done, plans are what they are plans...reality check, i have a addition, one of them are volvos and the other is i cant leave stock alone. read on you will see.

Later that evening when i was making the brackets to remove the head, i had a road block. tried to put a screwdriver thru my thumb.

Yeah, I exchanged PMs with Steve about considering picking it up too. And I didn't for the same reason - that plus transporting it would have been expensive.

you two missed out on one REALLY REALLY clean ass v70. just look at the steering wheel, we all know how nasty these get after 50k, the dark spots are my dirty hands on it LOL
