I have been trying to find a lower lip spoiler for my 2001 volvo c70. im wondering what my best option is. Can the one off viva fit my stock bumper? I know this might be a dumb question. but i would appreciate some suggestions.

Unfortunately there are no good options for the C70 bumper, your next best option would be to switch to a stock T5 bumper and do a s90/960 lip or buy an R bumper and get in on the potential group buy from Adam (Owned) and do that. The thing with C70's though is the front end there aren't many modifications that could be done. if you look at my signature pic, thats the lip you could make with the T5 bumper (although I cracked mine in the pic)

I really enjoy the look of that. so really there no other options to mod a c70 front bumper.

replace the C70 bumper with a V70R bumper or a stock T5 S70/V70 bumper... I presume you could do an XC bumper but I don't really know how that would look... Otherwise you'll have to get creative and do something totally custom one off to fit that bumper.

 we've explained this to you. Only 3, yes count them, three, trois, tres, tre, drie, tribus, kolme, san, se, tsu...whatever language you need us to write this in...only 3 nautic blue V70Rs were imported to the US and Justin owns one of them. So your best bet to get a nautic blue R bumper is to acquire a new one from the dealer for ~$350. If they have it in nautic blue that is. Otherwise you're going to have to paint it.

See my sig for another picture of R bumper - new lip to be in place once the group buy goes down.

For the C70 bumper, a few people have used the first generation S40 sport package front bumper lip. Looks great on the C70 bumper. Wish I could find a picture with it on a C70, but can't seem to come up with one at the moment. Here is the lip on the S40:

Do it right and get a real/functional one. If you do a splitter though make sure to get stay bars as well.

In all honesty I had not known this until now- I haven't researched it much beyond hearing Justin *may* have one...

350 from the dealer would suffice, a fresh new bumper for that price isn't so bad i suppose.

EDIT:

In regard to just a lip- anyone tried one of these?

http://www.ebay.com/...#ht_2239wt_1139

They look pretty nice in the pics on ebay... suppose that could be a bit deceptive though..

^LOL pcguru

Those are the garage door foam lips you can buy for $8 per roll at Home Depot. They can look ok, but are indeed deceptive. You have to mount with a screw and fender washer about every 3 inches and not get it too tight or the front will look wavy (yes, I have done them and removed them).

Same here, always ends up looking wavy, or if you find a way to mount it without it looking wavy, it won't last long...

Not suggesting it was asking if it was a valid solution... but thanks for letting me know what it is...

Frankly though the lower part of my bumper is real rough anyway, and putting something like that over it would probably look better lol :>\

OH yeah guy LOL http://www.homedepot...catalogId=10053

- for 9 bucks i might actually just see what that looks like... saw some other cars (miata, civic bleh....) with this DIY that didn't actually look that bad...

$36 shipped for those garage lips? WTF am I spending money on fiberglass and aluminum for?

I don't think I could sleep at night ripping people off like that.

I had to register my basement as an NFA item.
