Take a moment and pause before hitting that "Post" button again. This is the second time today you've posted total trash in someone's thread where they were seeking information. If you don't have anything to contribute, just don't. For the record, interior swaps on these cars is not difficult at all. Especially given that the OP has already taken his interior apart once before. I'm guessing you didn't know that.

OP: My understanding is that there isn't much difference between the 2. Front seats are the same, rear seat main difference is the rollbar vs fixed headrests. What are you trying to accomplish? Answered your PM btw.

You won't have the trim parts along the roof line so you won't have everything.

Thanks guys. I may have access to a 02 vert with a great condition interior (charcoal). The goal then would be to swap it into my coupe (light).

I am trying to get an idea of what challenges lay ahead and what interior parts I would need to source in charcoal should I decide to make the swap. I will take some pictures and see what I can figure out just from looking when I get the chance. Thanks again.

you really shouldn't be talking about posting useless nonsense in others threads.

on topic. taking the interior out is the easy part. but what you want to do is put the bolts in different labeled bags so you know where everything came from. yes it sounds time consuming but it works out when you put the interior back in.

He knows HOW to swap interiors..he was asking what parts from a convertible would swap into a coupe. so he had an idea what else he would have to source.

it wasnt directed towards his posting on info for the swap. it was more about what he said to the other guy.

This is getting very confusing guys...
Unfortunately my best option right now is to part the car out and see what the future may hold.

Ok, What I'm getting from this is the the OP was vary vague on the introduction post. Even though most people know he has done this before, Some people still don't.

The swap should be easy as youv'e done it before, Although i'll agree about the fixed headrest vs rollbar, and it being a convertable so not having and upper trim or headliner.

What should have been clarified was simply what differences exist between vert & coupe interior panels, esp. the inner 1/4 & hat shelf. Obviously there is no headliner. He was looking at several vert parts cars, and was trying to figure out just how much (besides the obvious) would actually transfer. Having someone answer who had actually done this was his original request, since there would not be speculation on what would or would not transfer.

Whether he has the skills to perform the work is actually a moot point, as far as the request for info goes.
