I know there isn't much love for S80's on here, but has anyone seen these headlights on an S80?

They look like the S60R headlights, but they have the separate turn signals. So far this is the only place I can find them, and it's only the passenger side assembly. Does anybody know where I might be able to get some of these for less than $400 per side? I already checked IPD and FCP.

those are the high intensity discharge headlights. not very easy to come by. considering the R headlights are about 8-900 a side, i don't think you'll have much better luck with those.

And you'd probably need some kind of software flash to use them, even if you could find them.

What if I were to use the HID conversion kit from EST and just make sure to get the same bulb type?

You can do that, but you'd have to read into the "bulb out" foolers. I know that when adding HID's to an S60 you need to do something to eliminate that, so you'd have to do the same for the S80. Check out John Sharp's website, sharphid.com. If I remember right he had info on that.

I wouldn't bother with these. These will function exactly like Stock S60R headlights, and they are sub-par compared to modern headlights. First off, if you can find the Eurospec ones, then those would be far better and likely far more expensive. If it's NASpec/DOTSpec, then I wouldn't bother. The S60R headlights lack a proper highbeam for night driving, all it does when you hit the stalk all it does it move the low beam slightly higher. Whereas the Eurospec lights (that does not have DRLs), uses the inner reflectors with a 9005 bulb for the high beam.

I came to a similar conclusion last night. I did not realize that these were bi-xenon. Now (n)A-GAME's comment makes more sense. Since my car came with halogens, it would require a software update in order for the high beams to work. I got a little excited when I saw different headlights for an S80, but I guess I got my hopes up for nothing. Thanks for the tips guys.

I tried to buy some of those... I had the passenger side that I got on eBay for like $50 and sold for like $35 a few years after. That whole time I continually tried to find the other side then realized they were stupid looking and a waste of money.

A better idea would be modifying the lights with an S80 Projector retrofit. Like this. Or the S60 Retrofit DIY that was recently posted.
