http://www.workwheel...ory=27&wheel=80

i'm looking at getting possibly a custom set of these. anybody have any ideas what would be ideal on an 850?

i'm down for a 17x8 size in possibly the deep concave set my only issue is offset, i've never known how to calculate it nor fully understand it.

dont mention the fenders because fender work will be done i just need an offset that will clear BBK and not rub on the inside.

also is it recommended to run staggered? as in 17x8's all around but offsets different from the rear to the front?

What you need to know is backspacing. You can have a 0 offset wheel but if it has a crazy spoke profile it will clear bigger calipers. I would try to stay in the tried and true 38 range.

Great wheels. Be ready to wait 6-9 months for a custom set.

There's no point in running staggered wheels on a FWD car for performance purposes.

willtheyfit.com

http://www.jonathanr...fset-calculator

Use those two sites to see if they'll fit and how they will look. You want a max inset of 147mm and poke you want to be around 75mm of poke in the front to be flush with the outer fender. The fender in the front is approximately 78mm out from the hub to use on the second site. Not sure on the rear hub to fender distance, but just measure your existing wheel to the edge of the fender, look at the poke of your existing wheel and add those together and that's where you would want the other wheel to sit.

Truth. But last I heard WORK USA was gearing up to be able to do production state side. Currently, if you have any issue w/ your wheels, all warranty work is done in Japan.

ok this is a phail! cant use these without adapters

Thank you for your e-mail.

Unfortunately we won't be able to assist you with your needs due to two
reasons:

1. Emotion CR Kai will be replaced by the Emotion CR Ultimate in 2012 so we
are not taking on special PCD (5x108) right now.

2 All 17x7.0 and 17x8.0 are all flat face (no concavity) and the lowest
offset we have on 17x8.0 is +32.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

You need to run more an agressive set up and anything below 17x9's have no concavity. They're either plain ugly or the spokes are poking out of the center even on a side view angle. Not good to look at.

Run the 17x9 +22 all around.

It all depends where you go. Shop around!

$25-$35 a wheel is a good price.

Those will have to be filled and redrilled, so you'll have to refinish them too. Backs aren't flat so you can't just do a redrill along with the fact that the raised parts on the back already have holes.
