Thoughts on getting another meet going early in 2012?

Will be in contact with hooters, bench warmers, Florida Mall and other areas with a large parking lot or established places of business other volvo crews have met at throughout the coming week.

yeah there were a few who were going to come down from out of state.

I doubt I will get much response on a sunday but I will at least throw some messages around tonight/tomorrow about a lot of cars showing up.
And it seems the Florida Mall will only do it if we pay to lease the parking. O.o wow they got back to me quick

Back when I was in Orlando, we ran a different kind of meet, but to me a good venue would be Orlando Speedworld... You couldn't all park in a row and take a picture with your camera resting on the ground (unless you met up before), but you sure could see whose cars are actually quick

Pros - Get to race, lots of beer, get to see cars that are truly fast
Cons - none?

Just trying to heckle a bit... You guys know I love you.

PS-- Moving to the Tampa/St Pete area pretty soon, also might pick up another RWD project. Still have the 850, still not driving it, still just sitting and gets started up periodically to flush some new crappy gas through the lines

Anyone wanna just say the hell with it.. meet up somewhere and cruise around the state?
Doing some food, gas, and photo stops along the way.
maybe get some GA guys to start it off friday-sat morning and pick up members till we hit the keys or ana maria island state park?
Camp out or get hotels for the night and then head home sunday morning?

I met your old next door neighbor when you lived in that house in Boca? Ironically he now owns a S60R. He was at this years meet in August at Turkey Lake.

Yeah, especially after I moved out and my sister was still there, that place was pirate hipster central. My condolences to the neighbors!

At least my shenanigans centered around cars.
