IE you can opt out of any notification at:

If you had more than one copy of the email announcing this is your email, you probably have more than one email address on file here. IE more than one username. That said I do know ~60 people were sent 2 copies when the server backup went off in the middle of the mail out. Live and learn, sorry.

I voted yes because I think if you have an account here, it'd be good to get info about major site changes. Better way to distribute information than posting it solely in the news section since it seems many people don't check it due to inactivity. And given that they can opt out, it's perfect.

i voted yes under the pretext of it only being a few times a year....its not that i dont love to hear from you all and what not, but id prefer to not have too many more emails then i already have to deal with and if im getting them on a regular basis there more likely to be ignored then if only so often when it really matters.
