Could someone with VADIS/VIDA please pull a part number for me?

I need the wire harness for the 2003-04 C70 jewel headlights. It's the same harness as #13 in this diagram but it has H11 sockets on it.

Previous owner of these did a number on them by clipping the wire to the low beam socket (based on the setup it appears they once were configured with HIDs) and then rewired them (badly) with H7 sockets before the car was sent to the JY. I'd like to revert them back to pristine state to see if I like the output with halogen bulbs before I move on to installing HIDs.

And yes, those are OEM black bezel 2003 jewel headlight assemblies.

You would think so, but the black bezel actually exists. I have the headlights in hand, they weren't spray painted. I have a set of silver jewels in the coupe so I know the difference. Needless to say, I'm not interested in an argument over what is what - my interest is in the part number for the headlight harness. ;)

T.Q. has them as well...

I am not sure about 2003's but S70s got some stupid plug that was about 4-5 inches long and it changed the harness simply my removing 1 prong in the #4 location so that we dont have city lights... If you have those you can simply unplug it & snip the zip tie that is taking up some slack and plug it in. This is what I did to have OEM city lights after wiring everything up

"9438738 Harness -2002." that is what came up for the 2003 C70 so I am not 100% sure...

2003 C70... this is the image & 13 is the part number I listed but idk if thats what the previous owner fucked up

#25 = 9162343 Wiring harness

That is the "wirign harness" but I think thats the same dumb ass short connecter that I was telling you about between the actual headlight plug & the harness itself. The actual harness has 4 prongs, HIGH, LOW, Ground, CITY. The harness that goes between the 2 simply did not have a female the CITY spade but I dont think the jewels have city light holes anyways but I could be wrong

No, Steve (Ghost Shadow) contacted me about selling them over the weekend and then we mutually decided I didn't want to sell them but I then got sidetracked from chasing down the harness. The PN you listed is identical to the harness for the 1998-2002 headlights with H7 sockets. (that's what -2002 means in your "9438738 Harness -2002"). Whereas what I need is the harness with H11 sockets. So that leaves me confused.

I think I'm going to need to go down to the dealer locally and ask them for the PN. That or maybe Daniel will come up with the spare harnesses he believes might be floating around in his Sanford & Sons garage.

yea sorry about that. I told you it listed it under 2003 but it states right on it (-2002) so idk why they would do that. I haven't been able to find anything of a 2003 that actually doesnt say -2002 :( sorry homie slice

Just got back from the dealer - the reason there's no PN in VADIS is because they quit selling the harness separately with the 2003-04 jewels. The guys in the shop said they splice in an H11 from SAAB if the sockets fail on the 03-04 Jewel headlight assemblies. So there you go. Guess I'll be ordering some new sockets online.

What do you need a harness for?
I've put C70 lights in both my cars and it's a bolt up, no harness change required
I even have Euro lights with city lights in my 2000R and the OEM US harness works with that too

Jim, we're talking about the harness inside the headlight assembly - the one that has the low and high beam sockets that then clips into the assembly behind the glass. The previous owner of this set of jewels cut the low beam socket off presumably when they did an HID setup. But before they gave the car to the junkers they poorly rewired an H7 socket into the assembly. So now I need to rewire a new ceramic H11 socket in place since they don't sell the harness like they do on the 1998-02 assemblies.

BTW, thanks. This info probably saved me a ton of headache trying to source the right harness unit.
