I expect this topic will cause some fussing

I know the BEST way to clean injectors is to remove them and send them out for cleaning/re-building... I am not that flush nor can I be without my car for the duration...

That leaves chemical Cleaning...

I remember a few years ago an Ad for Injector cleaners that had them pouring all the different brands into Styrofoam cups... Only a few of them melted the cups, and one went through them like a hot knife through butter...Wow... Needless to say that product was in a METAL container...

But when I go to my auto store, there are several product that are in metal containers and I don't remember what the brand was...

I do remember that it was a "sister" product to a snake oil product like slick-50...the oil additive was questionable, but the injector cleaner was great...

Anyone remember what the product was or have a good recommendation for injector cleaner?

Seafoam, suck 1/3 through the intake Via a vacuum hose that feeds to all cylinders. I mean if u have to, go off the vacuum tree. Make sure as soon as u get all of it into your engine, shut the car off, then walk away for at least 30 minutes, and let it cook all the carbon out of your intake and off your valves! Then pour the rest in your gas tank. Your car will try to die when you suck it into your intake, so It's best to have someone keeping your car at like 2500-3000 rpm's while your doing it, and ready to kill the engine once It's all inside. When you drive it, be ready to piss off the neighbors, cause it will smoke like a freight train!!! The more smoke, the more carbon It's burning!!
