Hey guys, has anyone done any foot well lighting with like LED Tubes? I did some searching around and saw some cool stuff but a lot of the pictures weren't there because they were either too old or exceeded bandwidth. I know NA Game did foot well mood lighting, if you read this could you please post up some pictures?

I don't have any pics but for my 850 i bought the bulbs from superbrightleds.com - can't remember if those lights are the twist in or wedge type but they were pretty cheap there and bright enough to fill the whole footwell at night time.

You could easily use the stock bulbs power source for an led tube stuck up under there- id be woried about placement on the drivers side though- also consider the adhesive you use, some of the pepboys/walmart led tubes have a glue on them- its usually garbage and falls apart quick if the dry air from the heater blasts it enough (honestly regardless of the heater its crap glue...).

Didn't do LEDs, but I put in OEM S40/S60/S80 lamps in the foot wells. Wired up to the remainder of the map lights, so that they fade in and dim out when the rest of the lights turn on. Adds a lot more light to the foot wells, instead of just the little side lamps when the doors open.

Serge, what type of lights did you use from the S40/S60/S80 ? Did these cars come with foot well lamps ? Got pictures of your install ?

I used 4, 6 led strips (2 under the dash, 2 under the seats) and theyre tapped into the fuse box at the cigarette lighter fuse

Nicee i bought some LED strips from amazon! Im hoping to install those to get that kind of look.

would have been faster and easier to see them before you buy them. i have them in stock and you can see what you get. pictures do not do them justice!

I saw some pictures of them in some other cars. They are veryy veryy bright.

i straight cut the wires and got 2 12v led panel the exact shape of the rectangle and mounted them in place, its beautiful.
