Well after that freak snow storm we had in New England there were a BUNCH of trees down. I put the wagon to work nightly after work hauling logs home. This was the haul so far that i have split.

Nice plies Bud!
Just a little side note: don't leave it on the ground. Wood acts like a sponge & don't stack it against your house, it attracts bugs ;)

I was thinking the same thing, won't this stuff attract bugs and stuff? didn't think it would in the winter but by summer it should be all used up. Nothing like the smell of a wood fireplace on a crisp chilly winter night! Lucky you, free fire wood!

It's fine where you have it for winter although the wood may be a little damp yet, if it was recently a living tree that is.
Typically, around May/June we pull a fallen tree or two out of the 'foresty' area of my property, chop it, and let it bake in the sun on a hay wagon until around late October.
We only use fireplace heat in my house during the winter, not sure if you use oil heat as well..

Sorry no wood in car pictures, although i will get a picture of the filthy interior. I picked up wood after midnight when i got out of work and had to unload it asap at home, so it was to dark to be snapping pictures.
Having no power for 7 days we ended running out of wood to stay warm, and cook food. So im going to be prepared this time around if it happens again, which im sure it will.

Thats A LOT of empties, to bad they weren't full :)
