The comments on that NYTimes article speak volumes about what is wrong with this country. There's plenty wrong, but the idiots that make up a large portion of the population sure aren't helping.

I make shitty pay, doing shitty work, and I don't bitch and complain to the government blaming them. Yea I complain about my job sucking some balls because it does but I'm not about to quit and hold a cardboard sign telling no one who gives a fuck about it and expect something in return. I keep working until there is something better and hopefully I can move up the food chain.

I lost my job in architecture after I graduated because the work wasn't there. Sure it sucked obviously but I didn't cry and bitch and say lets protest. I got my fucking ass up and applied for jobs regardless of what they were. My busted ass hip & I got a job slinging kegs for 11 hrs a day 6 days a week because I am not a pussy or expect hand outs and understand that I have bills to pay. Sure it fucked up my leg but I wasn't about to be a little bitch about it and let myself get defunked financially. People feel that some jobs are below them, then ever day they go without working at their job someone else is more qualified to do what the other thinks they are entitled to. Then we have to have a pitty party of why they are down at wallstreet holding a sign saying "I want free money because I would rather take a hand out than earn my dues..."

Fuck em all! If I had my leg rebuilt 2x and still took a job moving kegs 11 hrs a day 6 days a week because I was smart enough to realize I have bills and would try my hardest to keep what I have I'm sure some fuck can find a job flipping burgers even if they feel it is beneath them. I wasn't thrilled about my job and I was ruining my body even doing it but... life is a bitch and I was gunna keep that bitch in check PIMPSLAP. Its called motivation and 99% of America doesn't have it. Me just being motivated puts me on that 1% level haha
