Hello VS membership,
The knowledge base here is terrific and has definitely saved me a lot of trouble over the years.
Thank you all for your contribution to the Volvo community.
I've been lurking here long enough and it's time to introduce myself.
I'm Eliot, and I live in Pittsburgh, PA.
I started wrenching at 12 when I rebuilt my first engine (Triumph TR3A) and I've been owning and wrenching on Volvos for about 6 years.
I started with 240's and somehow ended up in FWD land. I do miss RWD so I might have to find another one for a project car.
I'm a mechanical engineer with a fabrication background, this has helped a lot with various projects.
I'd be willing to help you guys out with design work, CAD, finite element analysis etc. Just shoot me a PM and I'll see what I can do.
The '98 S70 is my pride and joy, a 5 speed swap is planned in next two weeks and maybe an ARD N/A manual tune if Lucky is willing.

At first I thought you meant the Russian slumlord that has a bunch of places in Greenfield lol.
I'm down in the run. Quiet except for the dump truck's j'brakes on the parkway behind my house, Ha.

I don't get out that way often but let me know if you need a hand with the car.
Wish I could save my car from the salt, but the motorcycle isn't too much fun to commute on in the winter, Haha.
