So my problem is the rear deck speakers aren't working on my '96 854

The speakers themselves, are fine. I checked them with a battery. The magents are intact. But no sound.

I checked the speaker wires, and nothing. I haven't really gone any further, as I don't want to start removing panels when it might be a easy fix.

I understand that they bridge from the rear door speakers, but I don't know where. Are they just bridged at the speaker, or somewhere closer to the HU? Could it be disconnected at the door speaker? I know my 940 had a factory amp, so maybe it could be something there? IDK

Any advice would help... I could probably find out by removing panels, but I am just trying the lazy way.

honestly only thing I can think of is to split from the door and run new wires to the rears. bypass the faulty connections.
