My motor has about 2000 miles on it now and the first set of OEM seals leaked. Put in a new set again last night, and leaking again.. RTV around the seals next? Any Imput would help.

Make sure there's no marring or scratches on the sealing surfaces?

Front or rear?
+1 on making sure the aluminum wasn't nicked upon seal removal.

This is what I found upon removing mine. No wonder why the damn car always leaked.

Its clean and no issues there. Maybe RTV the seals and try again

Just to make sure on you meaning of "OEM"--genuine Volvo, not OEM-grade? I replaced mine with one of the common "OEM" ones--think they were Elring--and they didn't last long. Better to use the factory ones here, if you didn't.

Volvo OEM and then tried aftermarket. Both leak.

I bought cam seals from napa when I first got my 850, lasted 60k miles and still looked good when we ripped apart the engine for parts for the s70
Try those, if nothing else its only 14$ down the hole.

See my reply in your other thread. Don't use a screwdriver to install them. Don't use any RTV. Use wheel bearing grease on the inner lip.
