Does the engine have to be lifted in order to get the inner control arm bolts out through the frame or can you tilt the bolt once its unscrewed from the control arm? The haynes manual says that on the right control arm requires the engine to be lifted.. I looked at both sides and I can get a box wrench on all four bolt heads to remove them... Thanks

You can unbolt little by little to get the control arm off and leave the bolt installed. Then just reinstall the new control arm.

I have heard you need to lift the engine, but if you end up being able to get the control arms off without lifting the engine please let me know. I'll probably be doing the control arms on my S80 in the near future.

Worked great on my S70 AWD for those pesky bolts right next to the oil filter housing. The flex head is key.
