I've got a 98 V70R and I'm putting in a 99 block with an M56 on it. Hoping to use as much 98 stuff as possible, for example, the intake manifold. The 99 has this water line (pic below) that comes around from the side of the block and hooks into the thermostat housing, with a weird little chicken foot connection that connects under the intake with a banjo bolt. The 98 does not have this, and I'm trying to delete it properly.

I'd like Hussein and Justine to weigh in on this if possible. I know Hussein has a really nice alternative to what's pictured below, but I can't find the pic of his setup.

Links? Tips? Ideas?
Thanks in advance, guys. :)

run a coolant line to bypass it and then connect the vacuum to the end of the intake like normal.
