The markings to properly align cams before removing timing belt on an 06 xc90 2.5T. Thanks.

Exhaust cam:

Thanks..just want to make sure before I go and change the timing belt on my xc.

I can't tell what angle your taking the pictures from. Plus there is no reference with the upper timing cover.

you are looking at both cams straight on. So the top is the top and the bottom is the bottom of the cam sprockets. It's not aligned to the upper timing cover. Just wanting to find out if these are the markings.

Align the crank and the cams will fallow....

Where is the crank marking located? Is it a line, a dot, a notch?

a notch..those are the right marks on the first pic but cant tell on the second..when aligning the crank you may need to turn it a few time until both cam marks line up..
