I have a 95 850 Turbo Wagon with the stock 16" turbo fan wheels on it. i want to go bigger. do you guys recommend 17's or 18's? i want to go with 18 x 7.5's but i worry about rubbing issues. and if i go with a wheel that big will i be able to lower it? i was thinking about also putting on a set of eibach sport springs for a 1" drop. i know 17's would be the smart decision because they’re cheaper, tires are cheaper, they will provide a better ride, and probably better handling, i just really like the look of big wheels. what do you guys think? i need some advice on this. thanks.

Might want to research here on the the Eibachs. I've heard they ride rough. IPD's might be better.

I do 17's because the roads here are bad enough. If you don't care about that or the extra weight then roll fenders and go bigger. In the end it's your car and your choice.

depending on where you live. However, with a wagon size, i would go with 18" wheel. 17" doesn't make much of a different going from 16" wheels.

Do you plan on abusing corners with the car or is this a just for show upgrade?

17s with some good springs/dampers and nice rubber will make that wagon handle great. My opinion.

I like the look of bigger wheels that fill the wheel wells as well. 18's will be fine. I had them on my car this past year and am much lower than your average spring drop. If you end up with 18s and you experience rubbing just purchase some spacers and that should eliminate alot of the rub.

These are 18" Pegs on the Saffron with TME springs and 225/40s
