[EMLYNT5-R]

Hi Folks,

Havnt been around for quite a long time, in all honesty I completely forgot you were all here.... can I ever be forgiven???

Well some may remember my last motor a 854 T5-R here:

Now moved onto another 854. Its a Red Automatic.

Already started doing some work on it.

As it stands she has the following:
- White 350CC Injectors
-TD04-HL16T
-Forge Unos Manual Boost Controller
-Turbo-Tuner USB Ecu
-Volvo Strut Brace
-302mm Brake Conversion
-IPD Drop Links
-Koni Yellows
-Full Stainless Exhaust Turbo back

The last motor did a 14.4 Quarter Mile at 103mph so aiming to reach that with this one too. I think after christmas a manual conversion is on the cards!!!

Unfortunately Black Ice and a Fox in January this year ended the T5-R... very upset, it was an accident at little over 60mph. I walked away completely unharmed though.



At that point as in the first project thread I still had the 855 so I spent my time and money and transfered the parts over to make it look like this:



I now have an S70 T5 ex Biritsh Traffic Police car too...



Some say I am stark mad!!!

Engine bay looking pretty standard at the moment, I still have a 960 3 inch throttle body and a reversed intercooler pipework system to fit:

Thanks buddy, a lucky escape but looked far worse than it really was.

Everything under the engine bay was perfect so I have it all sat in the garage. I had replaced the standard M56H manual box with an M56L Shorter ratio box for faster acceleration so ill be using the gearbox, pedal box and linkage from the T5-R in the R.

Not sure how rare they are in the States but when I come accross a set cheap I take em.

I did have VST Monoblocks on the grey one but they didnt suit in my opinion.

After a very lazy period, partly due to lack of funds there has been little progress of late with the 850.

I did however trear her to an early christmas present and she now has a Turbo-Tuner fitted. Its going to take a while to get the hang of it and I think a AFR guage is going to be needed but Im confident that its a piece of software that I can easily adapt with each mod as it arrives.

Had a play with the TT on the way home today and was really impressed so game on!





Also fitted a boost guage. It looks well and is all wired up now. Im not usually a fan of the boost guages however it has become neccessary to tune with the TT.
