never pulled an engine on an fwd based volvo before.

i could use some help as i don't even know where to start!

a t5 is going in i could use some help to get it out as quickly as poss. i unfortunetly dont have a garage or heated garage,

willing to supply beer and food.

go on craigslist and look for a garage to rent for a month.

it's going to be snowing and even i wont do a swap in the snow for fun, or free.

yup but not everyone is motivated by money. if someone asked me to help them out in a time of need i would.

but i guess some people just want money :rolleyes:

I think the biting cold of 30 degree metal parts will drive helpers away more than a a lack of payment.

You'll need a space that the whole car can be brought to room temp and kept there for the duration of the operation. Cold makes working on a car just plain suck.

yeah idc about money, but working on cold metal blows lets be honest here.

hmmm that might be an option. i talked to a friend tonight he said he could loan me his garage to pull my engine for a while.

Not only do cold tools suck, but cold metal/plastic/bolts will break easily. Car neeeds to be room temp for me to even touch it. Truth sucks sometimes but when you're seeking free help you need to make an attractive offer! Just my two cents.

problem is the car needs to sit at about 65deg for at least a few days for everything to warm up.

oh gotcha never worked on cars in the us before it was always in jamaica. obviously temps dont go below 65 in jamaica haha
